I Love My Friends

I can't say it enough. Some of them are completely unreliable and will fake on you in a moments notice. Others I barely see or hear from consistently whether its my fault or theirs (mostly mine). But when it comes to clutch situations they're always there for me in a pinch and I have never once questioned their loyalty, love and/or support for me or Rachelle

Take for instance my best friend Jackie. She's just the best. I know she's been dealing with some stuff and kind of run down lately but she shelves all of that to bend over backwards to make sure Rachelle isn't alone on her first wedding dress fitting. Not only was she clutch enough to go with her, but she totally rounds out the event by getting her a impromptu bouquet, some chocolates and champagne.

And Michelle who knows Rachelle was in a jam with this day of coordinator stuff, so she gladly offers to pick up the baton and run with it. She's perfect for the job too and I'm happy that Rachelle doesn't have to stress out that day anymore.

And of course all my friends who RSVP'd yes to the wedding. I admit that when Rach and I put together the invite list, there were a few of my friends who I thought "sure we'll invite them, but I doubt they'll go". Well they've almost all proved me wrong. Not that I mind. We invited them because we wanted them to be there and I'm stoked that they're coming. The more the merrier at this point.

So whether its pulling us out of a jam or just calling me while I'm cooking to force me to turn on the Cubs game so I can see the old Houston Lady with the huge hair and the tangerine blazer behind home plate looking like she's gonna die at any moment because he knows I'm gonna lose it when I see her(thanks, Ken! BTW, Rachelle still seriously questions our sanity) my friends our great (yeah, that was 1 sentence...deal with it)

We're at less then 2 months to go and the finish line is in sight. Kind of makes me sad that all this coming to an end and Rachelle and I get to go back to being 'normal'. Oh well. I'm sure she'll be relieved since she's the one stressing out about it. Well in the mean time I'll just go back to strictly communicating to my friends using only Flight of the Conchords quotes and playing video games.

P.S. My sister just went into labor so looks like I'm gonna be an uncle..todayish...YEAH!!
